Write for us
We welcome pitches that make a specific part of casino culture easier to understand, without selling gambling or presenting chance as a route to a guaranteed result.
What to pitch
We are interested in clear, original proposals about game rituals, entertainment, casino language, gambling history and the place of casinos in public culture. A strong pitch names its central question, explains why it matters to a general reader and shows what makes the treatment distinct.
A good fit
Prefer a focused subject, a thoughtful angle and a clear account of what you can substantiate. Do not send promotional copy, disguised gambling advice, unsupported claims or work that depends on confidential information. Tell us if a proposed piece has appeared elsewhere or involves a relevant commercial connection.
How to send a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option for a pitch. Include a working title, a short outline and a brief description of your relevant experience, if any. A proposal is not a promise of publication, and we cannot guarantee a response time.
Curiosity is better than a sure thing
We look at casino culture with interest, not promotion. The aim is to make its forms and language easier to notice, without treating chance as a promise.
